The Art of Human Rights 2010

For those that don't know, Heartland Alliance has changed the name of the Art Against AIDS event to The Art of Human Rights beginning this year. It is coming up fast on February 19th, 2010 so you should get your tickets soon!

It is an event/fundraiser that I have been affiliated with for over 3 years now benefitting the Heartland Alliance. Artists donate their work for both silent and live fine art auctions. Proceeds from the event will help Heartland Alliance provide housing, healthcare, economic security, and legal protections services to more than 200,000 people whose lives are threatened by poverty and danger, including those living with HIV/AIDS.

In 2008 I was an honorary co-chair of the event and donated this photography and last year, an illustration. This year I went a different route and donated a painting of a very well loved bear.
